We are committed to our Team Members maintaining a work-life balance that we believe culminates in a comprehensive benefits plan. BTL’s benefits plan provides option plans to cover medical, dental, and vision needs for the Team Member (and their families), helps prepare the Team Member for retirement, assists with income protection during short-term or long-term disability situations, and assists families during catastrophic times through life insurance plans.

To assist in our employee work-life balance BTL offers paid leave. SCA Team Members are provided vested vacation while non-SCA Team Members accrue PTO each pay period. These leave plans provide paid time off for vacation, personal business and short-term illness. Accrual rates vary based on tenure with the company and/or the Wage Determination for each applicable contract.
Some of our best recruiting resources come from our Team Members. BTL has a formal Team Member Referral plan, which pays Team Members who refer applicants for positions in which they are selected. If you refer a qualified candidate that is hired and remains in the position past 90 days you will receive a bonus of $250, $500, or $1,000 – depending on the position that the candidate fills.
To assist Team Members with savings to supplement their retirement income BTL offers our 401(k) Retirement Plan. This Retirement (Savings) plan allows for immediate participation and immediate vesting. We know that achieving financial security for our Team Member future is not just a matter of how much each Team Member earns, but more importantly, it’s a matter of how much they are able to save. Team Member savings grow faster with tax-deferred dollars, company contributions, and investment opportunities. In addition, BTL provides SCA Team Members with a 401(a) plan for any unused Health and Welfare (H&W) dollars. SCA Team Members are fully vested in the 401(a) program from their date of hire. The BTL Retirement Plan permits rollovers from prior employer-sponsored qualified plans. Loans and hardship withdrawals may be available under Plan rules.
