BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE
Dorinda Broadnax earned her Bachelor of Science in Office Administration with a Minor in Economics from Alabama State University. She worked as an Administrator in the following areas: Education, Real Estate, Religious institutions, Law and presently with BTL Technologies, Inc. Dorinda is ordained in Ministry at the United Church of Christ and has also served as an Associate Pastor at Community Congregational United Church of Christ in Montgomery, Alabama.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS
Dorinda acquired a movie extra role and participated in the Movie “The Longwalk Home”, starring Whoppi Goldberg and Sissy Spacek, filmed in Montgomery. She has received a Certificate of Appreciation from The Butler County Civic League’s program honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and won the Outstanding Young Women of America Award in 1987. Finally, Dorinda earned a Certificate of Merit for Services Rendered in the Montgomery Area Board of Realtors.
